Smriti Mandhana scored a record-breaking 124 off 64 balls to power India to a 137-run victory over Hong Kong in Dubai on Thursday. The win secured India's place in the Women's Asia Cup semi-finals, where they are scheduled to face Pakistan on Saturday.
During her innings, Mandhana surpassed Mithali Raj as the leading run-scorer in women's internationals and overtook Meg Lanning for the most centuries across all formats with 18. India posted a total of 193 for five, while Hong Kong struggled against the Indian bowling attack and were dismissed for 56 runs in 16.2 overs.
Reflecting on her performance, Mandhana noted that she was unaware of the specific records she had broken during the match. India remains undefeated in the tournament after winning both of their opening games.
