The State Transport Corporation has announced the operation of special bus services from Chennai and other locations to accommodate the upcoming Vinayaka Chaturthi festival, auspicious wedding dates, and the weekend. From the Kilambakkam bus terminus, 585 buses will run today, followed by 1,255 buses tomorrow. Additional services are scheduled for September 12, with 1,030 and 650 buses operating in two phases.
Furthermore, the Koyambedu bus terminus will facilitate travel with 240 buses each on September 7 and 8. An additional 105 buses are scheduled to depart from the terminus on September 13.
