Udhayanidhi Stalin has strongly condemned the police decision to deny permission for rallies scheduled by the Dravidar Kazhagam in Erode on September 17 and by the DMK and its allies in Gudiyatham on September 15. He questioned why the police, who operate under the Chief Minister's authority, permit rallies by right-wing organizations while blocking those planned to mark the birth anniversaries of Periyar and Anna.
Stalin criticized the administration, asking whether the police force is controlled by the Chief Minister or by saffron organizations. He urged the Chief Minister to stop sidelining the legacies of Periyar and Anna and demanded that the authorities immediately grant permission for the scheduled rallies.
