Minister Ramesh has questioned whether mingling with the public in common areas constitutes an act of disrespect. Speaking to reporters in Trichy, the minister addressed the controversy surrounding former minister Sekar Babu’s recent temple visit.
Minister Ramesh asserted that officials are appointed specifically to serve the public. He noted that he personally avoids using VIP queues when visiting temples, choosing instead to join the general public. He challenged the former minister to explain why he considers visiting temples alongside ordinary citizens to be disrespectful.
