Fishermen Protest Proposed Secretariat in Chennai

Fishermen representatives have strongly opposed the plan to construct a new state secretariat in Chennai's Pattinapakkam. Following a consultative meeting, the group alleged that the project violates Coastal Regulation Zone (CRZ) norms and was initiated without public consultation.

Describing the proposed construction as dangerous, the representatives announced that they will launch a series of protests to express their opposition to the project.
