DMK leader M.K. Stalin has admitted that his party made a strategic error by failing to take the TVK seriously ahead of the recent elections. He acknowledged that the DMK had previously focused its opposition solely on ideological rivals.
Stalin stated that the party dismissed the TVK as a "clownish group" and consequently chose to ignore its political presence during the campaign period.
