India secured a commanding 170-run victory over Afghanistan in the second One Day International held in Lucknow today. With this win, India has clinched the three-match ODI series, having won the first two games. After Afghanistan won the toss and opted to bowl, India posted a formidable total of 402 runs, being all out in 49.5 overs. Captain Shubman Gill and Ishan Kishan were the stars of the Indian innings, both scoring centuries. Chasing a challenging target of 403, Afghanistan struggled to build partnerships and was eventually bowled out for 232 runs in 44.3 overs. Rahmat Shah was the top scorer for Afghanistan with 79 runs.
