The Agricultural Threat in France.
🔴After the record breaking heat dome that struck France England, and the United States in June, July is rapidly turning into another extreme month, particularly in its second week. 🔴A second heat wave is approaching France 🇫🇷. It is forecast to affect the country from July 7 to July 13. 🔴 Although this heat wave is expected to be less intense than the first, it arrives at the worst possible time. Following the severe damage already inflicted on corn fields, this new episode of extreme heat could have devastating consequences. 🔴Many crops are now entering the critical pollination stage, when heat and water stress can significantly reduce yield potential. 🙏 Sending strength and courage to all French farmers. This season is shaping up to be one of the most challenging they have faced in decades. 🔴Not only France, England and parts of western America are also expected to experience heat waves over the next two weeks. 🔴The ongoing El Niño is further intensifying these conditions in combination with global warming. This is just the beginning the next 12 months are likely to bring a series of extreme weather events across the world.
