Heavy to extreme rainfall has been recorded across the Cauvery catchment areas in Kodagu, Chikmagalur, and Hassan districts. Significant precipitation is also impacting the Kabini catchment region, particularly in Wayanad.
Authorities anticipate that the Kabini reservoir will reach its full capacity within the next one to two days. Additionally, the Hemavathy reservoir is expected to receive substantial inflows as a result of the intense rainfall in its catchment area.
