Water Flow Drops at Hogenakkal Falls

Water inflow into the Cauvery River at Hogenakkal has decreased from 9,500 cubic feet per second to 6,000 cubic feet per second. Due to the ongoing safety concerns, the district administration has extended the ban on bathing in the falls and operating coracles for the fifth consecutive day.
