The Cauvery Water Regulation Committee is scheduled to hold its 139th meeting in New Delhi tomorrow. Officials representing Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala, and Puducherry are expected to attend the session, which will focus on determining the volume of water to be released from the Cauvery River during August.
The meeting holds significant importance as Karnataka is required to release 45.5 TMC of water in August. While a total of 88 TMC of water was mandated for release across June, July, and August, only 10 TMC has been provided to date.
