Tirunelveli Councilor Suspended Following Council Meeting Disruption

Tirunelveli City Corporation councilor Alla Pitchai has been suspended from attending the next two council meetings scheduled for September and October. The disciplinary action follows repeated disruptions caused by the councilor, who persistently blew a whistle during the corporation meeting despite multiple warnings from Mayor Ramakrishnan.

Pitchai, who recently left the DMK to join the TVK, was barred from the proceedings after failing to heed the Mayor's directives to maintain order. The suspension was enforced as a direct consequence of his conduct during the session.
