Minister Ramesh has announced a series of new initiatives for the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department. The government has allocated 125 crore rupees for renovation work at ancient temples and plans to establish a recruitment board to fill vacant positions within temple administrations.
Additional measures include hosting public feasts in temples on the birth anniversary of K. Kamaraj and organizing special festivals dedicated to Alwars and Siddhas. Furthermore, the government has decided to expand the existing program for preparing temple prasadam directly on-site.
