Former Minister Sekar Babu has dismissed allegations regarding the mismanagement of temple assets, asserting that he is deeply aware of the traditional belief that misappropriating divine property leads to ruin. He noted that audits conducted across seven temples have yielded no evidence of wrongdoing.
Responding to claims made by Minister Ramesh, who stated that the DMK government has compiled evidence of irregularities within the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department to be released soon, Sekar Babu challenged his critics. He stated that he is prepared to accept any substantiated accusations if they are presented with credible evidence.
