An IndiGo flight bound for Singapore from Trichy was forced to return shortly after takeoff due to a technical issue. The pilot alerted the Trichy airport control room 20 minutes into the flight after detecting the fault.
Before making an emergency landing at 9:02 p.m., the aircraft circled the airport for approximately 20 minutes, causing distress among the 126 passengers on board. The flight landed safely, and technical teams are currently inspecting the aircraft. Airline officials are now coordinating alternative travel arrangements for the affected passengers.
