Primary symptoms of the virus include fever, cough, sore throat, headache, and fatigue. The Department of Public Health noted that some patients may also experience joint and muscle pain, vomiting, and diarrhea. Officials have urged the public not to ignore these symptoms or resort to self-medication. Instead, individuals are advised to visit the nearest medical facility immediately for proper testing and treatment.
