DMDK General Secretary Premalatha Vijayakanth has criticized the conduct of the state legislative assembly, alleging that proceedings turn chaotic whenever Minister Aathav Arjuna begins to speak. She noted that while the assembly sessions often start peacefully, they quickly devolve into disputes once the minister takes the floor.
Premalatha stated that her party arrives prepared with data to discuss public issues, yet only one hour is dedicated to matters of public interest. She further alleged that the remainder of the session is wasted on unnecessary confrontations.
