The world-renowned Kumbakonam Mahamaham festival is scheduled to take place in 2028. The state government has initiated comprehensive preparations to ensure the event is conducted on a global scale, reflecting its cultural significance.
Minister Ramesh informed the Legislative Assembly that the government is committed to organizing the festival with excellence. He noted that regular review meetings involving the Chief Minister, the District Collector, and officials from the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department are currently underway to oversee the arrangements.
