Minister Vignesh has announced a salary increase for TASMAC employees, a move aimed at curbing irregularities within the state-run corporation. Under the new pay structure, sales staff will receive a monthly salary of 30,284 rupees, while supervisors will earn 33,023 rupees. Additionally, the minister informed the Legislative Assembly that employees will be granted a festival advance of 20,000 rupees.
In a separate announcement, Minister Vignesh stated that the rehabilitation fund for individuals who have reformed after serving prison time for illicit liquor production will be increased to 1 lakh rupees.
