A 16-year-old girl from Uttar Pradesh was allegedly gang-raped by a bus driver and conductor after boarding their vehicle seeking help. The teenager had mistakenly disembarked at Pari Chowk during heavy rain and darkness while attempting to travel to Noida to meet a relative.
The accused, identified as driver Kuldeep and conductor Sandeep, allegedly committed the assault while the bus was in motion, using the vehicle's drawn curtains to conceal the crime. The bus traveled approximately 47 kilometers before the suspects abandoned the victim near the Kashmere Gate bus terminal.
Following the victim's report to the Kashmere Gate police, both suspects were arrested at a parking area in Timarpur. Authorities have seized the bus for forensic examination, and an investigation into the incident is currently ongoing.
