Nepal Flood Death Toll Surpasses 1,000

The death toll from severe flooding in Nepal has exceeded 1,000. Authorities fear the number of fatalities may rise further, as the whereabouts of more than 4,000 people remain unknown following the disaster.

Rescue operations are currently underway in the affected regions. A total of 22,000 personnel, including members of the military and various other departments, have been deployed to carry out relief efforts.
