The United States government is reportedly planning to revoke the work authorization currently granted to H4 visa holders, who are the spouses of H1B visa workers. Under existing regulations, these individuals are legally permitted to seek employment while residing in the country.
President Donald Trump is actively seeking to overturn this policy, which was originally introduced in 2015 during the Obama administration. If implemented, the proposed changes would eliminate the employment rights currently enjoyed by H4 visa holders.
