The Delhi High Court has issued a notice to music composer Ilaiyaraaja following a contempt of court petition filed against him. The legal action was initiated by Echo Recording Company, which alleges that the composer has continued to claim ownership rights over his songs in violation of an existing court injunction.
In its petition, the company has requested that the court seize Ilaiyaraaja’s assets for allegedly disregarding the judicial order. Furthermore, the firm has urged the court to appoint an official to oversee the sale of these assets to address the ongoing dispute.
