Director General of Police Mahesh Kumar Aggarwal has ordered the transfer of 46 Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs) across Tamil Nadu. The official notification regarding these administrative changes has been released.
Key reassignments include Saraswathi, formerly of the SBCID, who has been appointed as Assistant Commissioner of the Greater Chennai City Police. Jagannathan, previously on the waiting list, is now the Assistant Commissioner of Thiruparankundram, while Saroja has moved from Palayamkottai to become the DSP of the Tirunelveli Central Crime Branch.
Additionally, Muthuraja has been transferred from the Avadi Police Commissionerate to the Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption. Tamilvanan, who served in the high-risk crime prevention wing, has been appointed as the Assistant Commissioner of Police in Ponneri.
