Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) Minister Ramesh has launched a sharp attack on the DMK, accusing the party of using obscenity, defamation, and intimidation as political weapons. Ramesh specifically condemned a former Minister of Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments for engaging in derogatory language and threatening opponents, stating that such behavior undermines the dignity of public office. He described the former minister's conduct as shameful, likening it to that of a "third-rate political speaker."
Asserting that TVK will not be intimidated by threats or slander, Ramesh emphasized that his party maintains a higher standard of political culture and refuses to stoop to such levels. However, he issued a stern warning, noting that every action has an equal reaction. He urged his political rivals to be mindful of their language, cautioning that if they continue to rely on abuse and intimidation, they will be forced to face the consequences within the political arena.
