IMD Predicts Below Normal July Rainfall for India

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasts that India will likely experience below-normal rainfall in July. The monthly average rainfall is projected to be 94% of the long-period average (LPA) for the period 1971-2020. The LPA rainfall for July across India stands at approximately 280.4 mm.
