The Union government has released Rs 4,466 crore to Tamil Nadu as part of its tax devolution share. This disbursement is part of a nationwide release of funds to all 28 states, aimed at accelerating capital expenditure and supporting development projects managed by state governments.
Under this allocation, Uttar Pradesh received the highest share at Rs 19,208 crore, followed by Bihar with Rs 10,845 crore and Madhya Pradesh with Rs 8,010 crore.
