A 15-year-old girl who appeared in a viral video making objectionable remarks against Prime Minister Narendra Modi has issued a fresh apology. The teenager expressed relief after the Prime Minister publicly stated that the misguided children involved in the incident should be forgiven and guided toward the right path. She described his gesture as a significant act that has given her a second life.
The girl explained that she was at a protest at Jantar Mantar on July 23 when she was encouraged by others to speak into a microphone. She admitted to using abusive language but claimed she was provoked and influenced by people at the scene who told her she had the freedom to speak. She stated that she is deeply embarrassed and ashamed of her actions.
Despite the Prime Minister's comments, the teenager reported that she is still facing police scrutiny and receiving threats from unknown individuals. A Zero FIR was previously lodged against her in Noida. The girl, who currently resides in Faridabad, reiterated her plea for forgiveness and promised that she would never repeat such behavior.
