High Court Grants Bail to DMK MLA Markandeyan

The Madras High Court has granted bail to DMK MLA Markandeyan, who was arrested for making defamatory remarks against Chief Minister Vijay. As a condition of his release, the court has ordered the legislator to report to the Tuticorin police station daily to sign in, with the exception of days when the legislative assembly is in session.
