The Tamil Nadu government is set to establish the Tamil Nadu Strategic Investment Authority (TNSIA) to drive industrial growth. The new body will operate with a corpus of 50,000 crore rupees to facilitate direct state investment across key sectors.
The initiative focuses on high-growth industries including semiconductors, electric vehicles, aerospace, artificial intelligence, and advanced manufacturing. The project is outlined in the government's "Vetri Tamizhagam" vision document, prepared by the Special Programme Implementation Department at the Secretariat in Chennai.
