opposition leader Udhayanidhi Stalin led a protest in Thanjavur today to condemn the Tamil Nadu government for failing to fully waive agricultural loans. A large number of party members participated in the demonstration to voice their demands.
Protesters also accused the state government of failing to prevent the construction of the Mekedatu dam project. The demonstration served to highlight these grievances alongside the demand for comprehensive debt relief for farmers.
