Southern Railway has introduced special train services between Chennai and Kollam to accommodate passenger demand during the Onam festival season. The services commence today.
The train from Chennai will depart every Wednesday at 3:10 p.m. and reach Kollam at 7:20 a.m. the following day. This service will remain operational until September 2.
In the return direction, the train will depart from Kollam every Thursday at 10:40 a.m., arriving at Chennai Central at 3:30 a.m. the next day. This service is scheduled to run from August 13 to September 3.
