Coimbatore has recorded three brutal murders within the last ten days, raising concerns over public safety in the district. The string of violence began on August 3 in Peelamedu, where 25-year-old Naveen was fatally stabbed. Police have arrested eight individuals in connection with this case.
Following this, 22-year-old Ashwin was killed on August 6 in Kinathukadavu after being attacked with a knife and a hammer. Most recently, on August 10, Amudhan, a 19-year-old college student, was beaten to death by a mob of more than 20 people in Othakkalmandapam.
