Minister Keerthana has denied that she is the person featured in a video currently circulating on social media. She further questioned the controversy surrounding the footage, asking what would be wrong even if it were her.
Expressing concern over the public scrutiny of women's clothing, appearance, and personal happiness, the Minister accused her critics of resorting to personal attacks when they fail to engage in substantive political debate. She characterized the criticism as a manifestation of misogyny, describing it as an archaic tool used against women.
