Heavy Rains Damage 2,000 Acres of Paddy in Delta Districts

Heavy rainfall across the Delta districts has submerged approximately 2,000 acres of paddy crops, causing significant financial losses for local farmers.

AIADMK General Secretary Edappadi K. Palaniswami has urged the government to conduct an immediate assessment of the affected areas. In a statement, he further demanded that the administration provide adequate compensation to the impacted farmers.
