Tamil Nadu Minister K.N. Nehru has criticized the Congress party's performance in the recent elections, noting that the party failed to secure significant victories across India despite conducting nationwide campaigns. Speaking in the Legislative Assembly, Nehru highlighted that the party's electoral success remained limited in most regions.
Nehru emphasized that the DMK was instrumental in the Congress party's success in Tamil Nadu, where the alliance allocated 10 constituencies to them. He contrasted this with the party's performance elsewhere, pointing out that while Congress managed to win only two seats in other parts of the country, the DMK's support ensured a much stronger showing within the state.
