DMK MLA Ambesh Kumar has criticized the organization of the Tamil Nadu Investors Meet, alleging that the event was conducted like a film shoot and that journalists were barred from attending. He questioned why the proceedings were kept from the public and mockingly asked what the climax of this "film" would be.
In response, Minister Keerthana dismissed the "film shoot" remark as unnecessary. She challenged the MLA by asking how many of the MoUs signed during his previous trips to Dubai and Spain had actually materialized into investments, further questioning whether those visits were also merely for filming purposes.
