Minister for Natural Resources Thangam Thennarasu has announced the establishment of a state-level mining control and monitoring center at the Directorate of Geology and Mining. The facility, which will be built at a cost of 20 million rupees, is designed to oversee mining operations across the state.
The center will be equipped with modern technology, including artificial intelligence, to facilitate real-time monitoring of all mining activities. During the announcement, Minister Thennarasu also released a list detailing mountains that had disappeared during previous administrations.
