Minister Aadav Arjuna has issued a stern warning in the Legislative Assembly, declaring that strict action will be taken against those involved in illegal mineral mining. He emphasized that the public will reject at the ballot box anyone who attempts to seize mineral resources, which he described as public property.
The Minister pointed to a former minister from Madurai, alleging that the individual had previously controlled mineral resources but failed to secure his deposit in the recent election. Minister Arjuna further alleged that the accumulation of wealth by those who arrived thirty years ago on bicycles, now evidenced by the construction of medical and engineering colleges, serves as proof of mineral exploitation.
