The latest India Today-CVoter Mood of the Nation survey indicates that while voter trust remains intact, the coalition faces challenges regarding Gen Z concerns, including recent education system irregularities.
The Congress-led INDIA bloc is expected to secure 185 seats, showing little growth from the 182 seats projected in January and a significant decrease from the 234 seats won in the 2024 general election. Individually, the BJP is forecast to win 261 seats, down from 287 earlier this year but still above its current 240-seat tally.
Conversely, the Congress party shows upward momentum with a projected 106 seats, rising from the 80 seats forecast in the previous survey. The findings are based on a comprehensive study conducted by CVoter between July 1 and August 25, incorporating data from over 116,000 interviews.
