Reliance Consumer Products, the retail arm of Mukesh Ambani’s conglomerate, has officially entered the Indian ice cream market with the launch of its new brand, Bombay Creamery. The company announced on Tuesday that the product range will feature price points starting at Rs 10.
The new ice creams are currently available across western India, with plans for a nationwide rollout in the near future. This expansion follows the company's recent entry into the competitive cola market with the relaunch of the Campa brand.
Reliance continues to grow its consumer goods portfolio, which already includes the Independence brand and various snack and confectionery lines. The company now competes against established industry leaders such as Amul, Vadilal Industries, Mother Dairy, and Hatsun Agro.
