Protesters blocked Chief Minister Vijay's vehicle near the Secretariat in Chennai today. The demonstrators, consisting of the parents and relatives of Akash from Manamadurai, were attempting to submit a petition regarding his custodial death.
The group demanded the arrest of the police officers involved in the incident, which occurred last March. Following the disruption, police personnel intervened and removed the protesters from the area to clear the path for the Chief Minister's vehicle.
