The Tamil Nadu Electricity Board (TNEB) has confirmed that a steady and uninterrupted power supply has been maintained across the state since yesterday morning, with no unplanned outages reported overnight. To stabilize the grid, the board has implemented several immediate measures, including the procurement of an additional 2,000 megawatts of electricity to eliminate shortages.
A high-level committee at the TNEB headquarters is monitoring the power grid and distribution network 24 hours a day, issuing real-time directives to ensure operational stability. Field teams and officials are also conducting continuous patrols to maintain consistent service across the state.
