M.K. Stalin has launched a sharp critique against CM Vijay, questioning his political integrity and recent campaign statements. Addressing Vijay directly, Stalin challenged his characterization of the DMK as a "corrupt force" while noting that Vijay has fielded Maragatham Kumravel, a former AIADMK member, as a candidate. Stalin questioned how Vijay could claim to represent a "pure force" while allegedly poaching MLAs from the NDA alliance.
Stalin further dismissed Vijay’s claims that the DMK and BJP are identical, pointing to the legislative assembly records where the BJP is frequently mentioned. He accused Vijay of failing to mount any genuine opposition to the BJP, labeling his approach a "surrender." He also mocked Vijay’s governance promises, claiming that the current administration’s initiatives are merely extensions of his own previous projects, while sarcastically listing issues like power outages and price hikes as the only "innovative" contributions of the current leadership.
Regarding recent political controversies, including the Gem Veeramani case and the tragic deaths in Karur, Stalin accused Vijay of ignoring court directives and failing to grasp the gravity of the situations. He urged the Chief Minister to reflect on his conduct, stating, "I suggest you introspect whether you are speaking with the dignity befitting the office of the Chief Minister."
