Skyroot Aerospace, the company behind India's first private rocket launch of the Vikram-1, is currently constructing its own dedicated rocket launchpad. The firm confirmed that development work on the facility is progressing rapidly.
Once operational, the new launchpad will eliminate the company's reliance on the Indian Space Research Organisation's (ISRO) facility in Sriharikota. This infrastructure will allow Skyroot Aerospace to independently determine launch schedules and execute missions on its own timeline.
