The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has issued a stern warning to devotees regarding fraudulent websites and social media platforms posing as official channels for booking darshan, accommodation, and arjitha sevas. The temple administration cautioned the public against trusting any unauthorized sites that misuse the TTD name and logo to deceive pilgrims.
Chief Public Relations Officer Ravi urged devotees to exclusively use the official TTD website and mobile application for all bookings. He further advised the public to exercise caution against misinformation circulated via WhatsApp and warned against transferring money based on unverified digital communications.
Legal action is being actively pursued against those involved in these scams. According to the TTD, authorities have already taken action against 259 fraudulent websites identified for impersonating the organization.
