The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has appointed retired Indian Air Force officer Jitendra Mishra as its first Chief Executive Officer. The appointment aims to ensure financial discipline and transparency in the management of the temple. Mishra was selected from a pool of 5,585 applicants following a rigorous screening process, ultimately emerging as the choice from a final shortlist of 16 candidates. He retired from his position as Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Western Air Command on April 30.
In addition to the CEO appointment, the trust has named Mahesh Bhagchandka, Madan Mohan Pandey, and Nirmala Yadav as new trustees. These organizational changes are part of a broader effort to strengthen the administrative structure of the temple management.
