Meteorological reports indicate that 21 districts across Tamil Nadu are expected to experience thunderstorms and rain over the next 10 days. While daytime temperatures are likely to remain high, the region can anticipate heavy rainfall accompanied by lightning during the night hours.
Private weather forecaster Hemachander stated that this weather pattern will persist from September 15 to 22. The affected districts include Vellore, Ranipet, Tiruvannamalai, Tirupattur, Krishnagiri, Salem, Dharmapuri, Kallakurichi, Perambalur, Ariyalur, Trichy, Karur, Namakkal, Erode, Tiruppur, Coimbatore, Dindigul, Madurai, Sivaganga, Virudhunagar, and Tenkasi.
