Flipkart is set to enter the food delivery market on August 15, beginning operations in Bengaluru. The e-commerce giant will challenge the current market dominance held by established players Zomato and Swiggy.
To gain a competitive edge, Flipkart plans to charge a 10 percent commission on orders. This strategy aims to undercut rivals, who are reportedly charging commission fees ranging from 16 to 30 percent.
