Chief Minister Vijay has declared that his government will not compromise on Tamil Nadu's rights regarding the Cauvery water dispute. Addressing the issue, he emphasized that the state has already passed a resolution concerning the Mekedatu dam project and formally submitted it to the Prime Minister.
Regarding his recent proposal for negotiations, the Chief Minister stated that he initiated the move in the hope of finding a viable solution. He further asserted that he has no intention of politicizing the matter and is prepared to face any personal criticism or humiliation for the sake of the people of Tamil Nadu.
